I think that Thranduil's elk lacked the armor in the movie. Thorin's ram had it, Dain's boar had it, but elk did not, so I decided to fix the situation.

I can just imagine light elven chain mail draped on the Elk as barding (horse armor). Could you do a drawing of Thranduil on his elk completely armored up? Maybe with entourage? Pretty please?
