Lucifer's Gratitude

Fanart is inspired by Russian fanfiction animamundi.ru/fanworks/fanfict… by that is based on the "Geburah" ending of the game AnimaMundi: The Dark Alchemist.
For centuries Mephistopheles kept trying to save his master - Lucifer the Ruler of Hell – whose soul was confined in the chain of human reincarnations.When Mephistopheles has finally reached his goal, Archangel Michael took the releases soul away by deceit. Mephistopheles was left with nothing while contented angel insolently gave him a light goodbye kiss and returned to Heaven.
And...

Mephistopheles is suffering all alone.
Archangel Michael suddenly returns to Mephistopheles to ask for forgiveness. Angel acts provocatively and flirts with the demon trying to distract him from sad thoughts. He even strokes Mephistopheles' wings with his own. Mephistopheles grumbles discontentedly in response, but angelic charms and good looks attract him nevertheless. He cannot help but pass glances at Michael.

When Michael noticed that Mephistopheles ignored his flirt, he stopped flirting and began heart-to-heart talk with demon. He comforted and hugged him.
Archangel's caress took Mephistopheles's mind off his sorrows and welcomed the consolation. He started kissing and making out.
Michael liked his kisses, but stopped him with sudden news: The Lord has divided the soul of Lucifer and Georik into two souls. Mephistopheles was stunned and shocked with this news.
But main news was that Lucifer has escaped from the Heavens and he is back home now, in his mansion in the Hell.

Mephistopheles teleports to Hell too. Michael promises to wait for him. Michael wants to save Mephistopheles, because he values Mephistopheles higher than Lucifer. [Michael unconsciously likes Mephistopheles]

At that time happy Mephistopheles returns in Hell. Mephistopheles is full of dreams - he dreaming of Lucifer's gratitude to him. Mephistopheles did everything for his resurrection to happen. Mephistopheles wants to hear "Thank you" from Lucifer.

But his dream will not come true. Lucifer's not satisfied, he despises Mephistopheles' adoration.
Lucifer (by Lilith's initiative) accused Mephistopheles of sabotage: "You mistreated Lilth Zaberisk, my wife's incarnation". It's absurd, and Lucifer knows this, but it doesn't matter for him. [As always.] Lucifer injured Mephistopheles with dark magic attack and threw him out from sitting room of mansion.

Humiliation and pain were Lucifer's gratitude for ages of Mephistopheles' faithful service.
