Isaac and Hector - love

It's like Lestat and Louis from the Vampire Chronicles, only the hair colors are reversed. Then again, it's Armand that is a fiery redhead if I remember right, but all hair color is black/grey in b+w illustration. No lie, Curse of Darkness is one of my favorite entries in the franchise, as you play as a former member of Dracula's army rather than a Belmont or an allied clan member. Not to mention Hector's love Rosalie was taken from him in the same way Lisa was, i.e. burned at the stake.
